Hi,
We're Jake & Matt, two friends who believe that books can be good for children's bodies as well
as their brains.
Both of us love to tell stories. Jake prefers to write them down and Matt likes to draw them, so when
we first started working in advertising together, a side project of some kind was inevitably on the cards.
That project very quickly became Ig, a children's book where healthy eating is at the heart of the story.
Struggling to find the time to give the Ig illustrations the love they deserved, Matt upped and left
his flat and job in London to go and live with his Nan Audrey on the Norfolk coast for four months.
When it was all finished, we took to Kickstarter to get it made.
Thanks to the support of an incredible community, we were fortunate enough to raise well over our
target to get the first run printed. Kickstarter even named us one of their 'Projects We Love'.
Then, with the books all ready to go, we had a book launch in London.
Now, a bit further down the line, Ig is making his way to bookshops, bookshelves and bedtimes all over the world...
...and we couldn't be more thankful.
